New Consul of Ireland
Mr Bruno Boccard has been appointed the new Honorary Consul of Ireland to the Rhone-Alpes region. Mr Boccard replaces the late Mr Dominque Hannebelle, who served as Honorary Consul for over 15 years until his retirement in 2007. Ambassador Anne Anderson, Honorary President of the CCIFIRL , Mr Patrick Mellett President of the Franco-Irish Chamber of Commerce, Jacques Gèrault the Prefet of the Rhone-Alpes Region and representatives of Entreprise Ireland and the IDA were among the 150 guests at a reception held to mark Mr Boccard's appointment.
