IFCC Business Award Lunch DUBLIN - 22 October 2009
The Ireland France Chamber of Commerce (IFCC) and the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie Franco-Irlandaise (CCIFIRL) announced on 22 October the winners of the Ireland France Annual Business Awards at a special ceremony held at the Davenport Hotel in Dublin. The event was kindly hosted by O'Callaghan Hotels, a Patron of the Chamber.
The award is for companies who have made an outstanding contribution towards bilateral trade an investment between the two countries. This year the award in Ireland went to :
- JCDecaux Ireland, known worldwide in the field of urban facilities and advertising, and recently launched with resounding success the famous dublinbike scheme.
- La Rousse Foods, importers & suppliers of gourmet food products to the food service sector in Ireland, who have greatly contribued to the appreciation of French Cuisine in Ireland.
It was a very successfulevent which gathered H.E. Paul Kavanagh, recently appointed Irish Ambassador to France and Honorary President of the CCIFIRL ; H.E. Yvon Roe d'Albert, French Ambassador to Ireland an Honorary Patron of IFCC ; Ms Joanne Grant, MD of JCDecaux Ireland ; Mr Marc Amand, Director of La Rousse Foods ; Mr Niall Gleeson, MD of Alstom Ireland and Vice President IFCC and Veronica Comyn from the CCIFIRL in Paris.
All in all 80 people attended the event.
